What was the first ever record you brought?
"Stand And Deliver" by Adam And The Antz

what band/artist would you say have inspired you the most?
Adam And The Antz, Motley Crue and T-Rex in no particular order..

So man for those of us that don't know whats the story behind spit like this?
My idea of the most perfect rock band somehow realized through a lot of time, toil and hard work. I never thought it could happen but it did. I've done bandz before but, this time, I didn't want to compromise. I wanted to push the vision that I had for the ultimate rock band and SPiT LiKE THiS was it. Next thing I know, 4 like-minded skallywagz had come on board and the rest is history. I alwayz wanted to be in a band that was like a gang and that is precisely what we are.

In one word how would you describe SLT music?
Different.

Spit like This have some awesome songs how do you come up with them?
There is no magic formula. Sometimez it is a mood that takez over me, other timez a cool guitar riff or a lyric. I wrote "Dragged Kicking & Screaming" whilst driving around in The Boner. I just write the songz I want to hear.

whats your fave SLT song?and why?
Probably "Trick Or Mistreat" for the sheer audacity of it. There is no band out there that would have the ballz to put a song like that out. I like pushing people'z buttonz.

Your new ep Sleaze sells..but whos buying has just come out and if i may say so myself kicks ass but was thhe title at all megadeath inspired?
Only in so much that it is referencing their "Peace Sells..." album. I love early Megadeth stuff but, when I was growing up, it seemed that you weren't allowed to like stuff like Megadeth and stuff like Poison at the same time. There was a whole Glam vs Thrash thing. I alwayz thought that sucked as I loved both in equal amountz so, this is my payback to those idiotz that ruined my childhood. Referencing a classic thrash album in such a way is bound to wind some people up. The twatz.

where will spit like this be in 5 years?
I think the classic line is "Dead, Jail, Rock n Roll" - take your pick.

If you weren;t fronting this band what would you be doing?
Fronting some other band! It is the only thing I have ever done; the only thing I know how to do well and the only thing I want to do. You cut me I bleed rock n roll!

why should people listen to spit like this?
Because we are not chasing money. We are not copying what is trendy. We are creating a scene, not catering to one. I distrust bandz that copy / imitate other bandz so closely. At the moment, there are a lot of sleaze / glam type bandz around and they all sound - or try to sound - like either Gunz n Rosez or Motley Crue. Same with the whole Emo scene - everyone soundz the same. It is good to have influencez but, to simply copy something showz a) a lack of imagination and b) that you are not for real. Music is an artform, not an equation. I play and write what I hear in my head. I am not thinking "ooh, will this make money" or "will this make us popular" - I am just compulsed to do what I do. So, listen to SPiT LiKE THiS because you know we mean it.

Vince or Axl?
it has to be vince. ok, so the guy has put on a few poundz but so would you if you'd gone through what he went through. plus, he'z a hard motherfucker that could kick Axl'z arse any day. I remember when he challenged Axl to a fight and he completely pussied out. Not that I hate Axl, just prefer Vince.

Jack Danielz ALL the way. Can't stand beer.


Hairspray or eyeliner?
Eyeliner! Since I was 15 yearz old, not a day has gone by that it hasn't been the first thing I put on in a day...


Reading Or Download?
Download, although the old Monsterz of Rock festival was waaaaay cooler.


If spit like this could play any venue in the world with any badn they wanted opening wat venue would it b and who would open?
Donington, simply because it is the Ultimate place for a rock band to play. Would have to be the main stage though, and at night. Any other time doezn't count. Who would open?? Fuuuuuuck.. Too many bandz to choose from... OK, no-one would open, it would just be us abusing people on stage for a few hourz beforehand.

lastly what do you think of our reporter tommy?
I have yet to meet the man but, from the correspondencez we have had, he seemz like a good guy \m/
