Review from Tom Knight, MyVillage.com: "The South London four-piece (??!! - Z), Spit like This, seemed determined to make the most of the atmosphere. Brilliantly dark and hilariously camp, Lord Zion soon got into his strut, using the microphone stand like a baton to rally his troops. Clearly evoking the image of Alice Cooper in his heyday, his worship seemed determined to bring the crowd up to his level. Not, mind you, that the set was all about nostalgia. True, boisterously explicit lyrics ("Down on You"), choreographed headbanging and fake blood were all there in abundance, but the rolling melodic punk and thumpy bass-driven tunes meant that Spit like This avoided coming across merely as a tribute to some forgotten era!!"
