10th december 2004 a comment on yesterday'z tragedy: i am not going to pretend that i am the world'z biggest pantera or damageplan fan or anything like that BUT, i do have some pantera cd'z and thought they were fucking awesome when they first came about.  still do.  and, i'm sure, if you know where to listen, you can hear stuff in our music that would not be there if i did not own those cd'z.  however, one thing i will readily acknowledge is that dimebag was a unique and influential guitar player.  i never met the guy but know people that have and they all say he was a cool person.  bottom line is, someone fucking shot him in the fucking head whilst he was on stage playing a gig.  THEY SHOT HIM.  why?  coz they didn't like him?  coz pantera split up?  who the fuck knowz.  regardless, no-one deservez that.  our thoughtz go out to all those personally affected by this - his friendz, family and fanz.  i sincerely hope that nothing like this ever happenz again in the rock / metal community.

5th december 2004 gig cancelled by venue management: an apology to all of you that went to the tap 'n' tin in chatham last night expecting to see us play.  we were forcefully evicted by an over-zealous management after they refused entry to our SLuTz.  despite the fact that they had been allowed entry into the venue, had been stamped etc, when they popped out to get some food, they were told they weren't allowed back in without id!  we tried for over an hour to reach an amicable solution that would a) allow us to play and b) ensure the safety of our SLuTz but the management would not budge.  at one point, the manager assaulted vikki by trying to pull her down a flight of stairz!  you'll be glad to hear she screamed blue murder at him and wank and stevie dived to her defense.  we tried every which way we could to reach an agreement but this dickhead just was not having it.  the venue was letting other people in without id, why not our SLuTz?  they had let them in once, stamped them and taken their money so, what was the problem??  in the end though, we had to leave coz we could not leave our SLuTz out on the streetz in a strange town.  we hope you understand.

3rd december 2004 those of you wondering where this month'z NOiZLETTER is, we have encountered a small problem!  the company we used to store our database of over 7,000 emailz has decided that they "didn't like the content" of our NOiZLETTER, so have banned us!  the cheeky fuckerz.  anyway, we managed to download the database and are currently looking for an alternative so, watch this space...

25th november 2004 gig announcement: yes, we're back at one of our fave venuez..  junktion7 in nottingham on saturday 11th december 2004.  it's a wildside nite so you know it'z gonna be good!  full detailz will be posted asap...

23rd november 2004 gig cancellation: we have been forced to pull out of our gig at concorde2 tomorrow.  when we signed up to do the show, we agreed to an on-stage time of no later than 10.30pm, and much earlier if possible.  we have a lot of young fanz that would miss us if we were on much later - this was explained to the promotor.  well, yesterday we were informed that our on-stage time was now 11.30pm.  we re-explained that people that are paying to see us would miss us but, to no avail.  they have refused to move our stage time so, to avoid disappointment to our fanz, we have pulled out.  no-one dis-respectz our fanz like that.  HOWEVER, we know that not everyone will get this message in time and, because we put our fanz FiRST, we will still go to the venue to meet and greet anyone that comez along!

17th november 2004 gig announcement: well, we won the chance to play at the concorde2 in brighton.  voting for bandz started a couple of weekz back and, as soon as we let you guyz know, we shot to number 1 and stayed there non-stop until voting ended.  so, a MASSiVE thanx to everyone that voted.  you guyz rule!!  anyway, the result is that we will be playing on 24th november.  it only costz £3 to get in (£2 nus) so get your buttz down there!

26th september 2004 gig announcement: we are through to the finalz of this: "Trashiest Band In The UK - Acey Slade, guitarist for the MURDERDOLLS, is giving "the chance of a lifetime" to a lucky U.K. band. While on tour with his new group, TRASHLIGHT VISION, Slade will be searching for a band to bestow the title "Trashiest Band in the U.K.". Finalists will get to open for TRASH LIGHT VISION at their London show on Tuesday, October 5 at The Underworld. The winner will be picked at the show by Acey, Alex Kane from the band ANTIPRODUCT, and will be based in part on audience participation. 24th august 2004 gig cancellation: got some bad newz i'm afraid.  our gig this friday at the tek, essex has been cancelled due to flooding.  the whole venue has been flooded out and it is currently deemed unsafe by health &safety (the fuckerz!!).  stay tuned for a re-scheduled date. 

21st august 2004 you know what?  fuck being politically correct!  i am fucking pissed off.  why?  last night's gig.  several thingz wound me up beyond belief.  maybe someone out there will learn something from the rant that is about to spew...  1) we got to the venue to find out that we couldn't actually perform our stage show.  when you book SPiT LiKE THiS, you do not just book 5 musicianz.  we bring along a SHOW.  we are a proper rock band that cramz all sortz of goodies on stage.  the promotor and / or venue had plenty of time to warn us in advance, to give us a chance to pull, and they didn't.  that suxx.  2) we get put in the headline position because the headliners pulled out.  no-one asked if this was ok.  to top all that, the whole thing ran late so, by the time we hit the stage, it was 11 and everyone had to fucking leave to catch the last bus / tube.  that is not cool.  3) the attitude of the venue itself.  what a bunch of arseholes.  the second we were off stage, we were told to basically get the fuck out.  they hovered over us whilst we were getting sorted and kicked us out of the street.  YOU FUCKING ARSEHOLES.  4) the lack of "promotion" by the "promotor".  9 out of 10 promotors do this.  they put a gig on in london - one of the busiest cities in the world - barely do any advertising and expect the bandz to do all their donkey work for them.  HEY, I HAVE NEWZ, THE WORD "PROMOTOR" MEANZ "TO PROMOTE".  the clue is in the fucking title.  there is a lot of competition out there, you have to give people a reason to come.  putting 5 or 6 mix-matched bandz on does NOT pull in the punters.  you put 2 or 3 similar bandz on, then people come.  common sense, no?!  5) the p.a. system.  jesus h christ.  we use a better pa at our rehearsals!!  no monitor sound and constant feedback.  no fucking volume either.  IT'S GOTTA BE LOUD OR IT AIN'T ROCK 'N' ROLL!!  6) the price of the booze.  for fuck's sake, £6 for a jack n coke n extra coke?!  are you having a laugh?  well, you'll be pleased to know that we sneaked in plenty of our own booze, thankyouverymuch, despite your best attemptz to stop us.

we are fed up with being a professional band constantly being treated like amateurz.  don't get me wrong, there are a lot of great promotorz and venues out there but, for every 1, there are 10 wannabes.  well, no more wannabes please.  if a promotor / venue wantz to book us, that is great.  i guarantee we will put on a spellbinding performance.  just don't fuck us around.

5th august 2004 apologies go out to all our SLuTz that tried to come and see us play last night at the purple turtle.  for some unfathomable reason, the venue would not let them in without id.  there is NO LOGiC to this and we nearly pulled the gig.  however, it was NOT the fault of the promotor so we didn't pull it out of respect for him.  however, let it be said, right here, right now that you will NOT be seeing SPiT LiKE THiS at the purple turtle, camden again.  our SLuTz are worth way more than any gig.  SLT forever!!!

10th june 2004 well, the only place to be last night was with us celebrating my birthday at the brides of destruction gig in london.  got to meet tracii guns and nikki sixx - we also gave them our new cd - tracii remembered the band from download.  best bit of the night though: they played our cd over and over again thru' the p.a. at the venue for about half an hour before b.o.d. hit the stage!  seemed to go down well with the gathered masses too.  how fucking cool is that?!

21st april 2004 a day in the life of spit like this: spent about 5 hours recording a great new song, rebel lover.  discover that vikki and wank are completely pissed and we're all in the need for more alcohol so a late night run to tesco's in the boner.  wank plays football in the aisles and wanders around asking for contraception.  back at the hq, get completely pissed and party.  partying into the early hours when we hear an explosion outside.  zion grabs his broadsword off the wall and runs outside to investigate.  we all then spend the next hour watching as bemused firemen put out fires and quiz zion about the sword he is wielding.  give firemen a load of coffee and they go away a bit confused with handfulls of spit like this flyers and stickers and promises to be at our next gig.  don't believe me??  view the pictures >>

5th april 2004 for those lucky bastards living in the kent / margate area of the uk, we have had the details through of our first gig in your area!  we will be playing the lido, margate on friday may 21st.  this gig has come about because loadz of our loyal SLuTz have been hassling the venue non-stop so we want to see as many of you as humanly possible there!  it's only £3 with a flyer, you can print out a flyer sheet (as many as you like!) and distribute them for us.  this night is going to be crazy, i tell ya, so don't let us down!!

30th march 2004 updated the gallery again to include shots from the latest show (electrowerkz, islington).  not only are there some great shots of us on stage (including me doing my spiderman bit), but you can also see us caged up like rabid animals and hanging out with some of our infamous SLuTz!
