amazing photos of you with our CD's are coming in. This is
my favourite so far!
Getting some
really nice ratings & reviews from actual
real customers on Amazon too, including: "An unholy amalgamation of heavy riffs, bad-ass drums and a bass line so heavy it will rock your foundations. Add that to Lord Zions dirty, sleazy and ultimately unique vocal style and you have something outstanding!
This is one album to truely upset the neighbours - just play it damned LOUD!"
In
a few hours' time we will be on our way to play the Hard Rock
Hell Road Trip in Ibiza. Before we leave, I wanted to show
you this
live review from our gig the other night with William
Control.
Our album came out in the UK on Monday on CD (holding downloads back a bit) and you seem to be loving it! The best thing is that, after soooooooooo long, we are getting feedback from the most important people: you. Best of all is when you send in photos to our
Facebook page of you with your new favourite CD.
You have also been saying nice things in your reviews
on
Amazon. Thank you!
CCKU FM in Canada has been a firm supporter of SLT for a while now. As if to prove as much,
they played another four tracks from the album this week.
If you are planning on seeing us in London next week opening for
William Control, we are on stage at 7.30, so make sure you are there for doors open at 7.

Bit
of an update for you. Over the weekend, we spent two long
days recording the video to "Zero To Sixty". It
is the kind of video you are going to have to watch again and
again and again - it completely defies belief and description -
I cannot WAIT for it's release!
Got another very
kind review from Let The Music Do The Talking "Metallica, Iron Maiden, Alice Cooper, early Motley Crue and a touch of 80s goth in a big old musical
blender...it’s hard to class any song here as filler.".

This is going to be FUN! In July we will be filming for the sequel to the comedy horror flick
“Zombie Women Of
Satan“, cunningly titled “Zombie Women Of Satan 2". I can’t reveal too much about our role, other than we will be playing ourselves, performing on stage.
The film is directed by Warren Speed who has gained much notoriety after “ZWOS”, which achieved UK & US distribution and is a regular viewing on various horror channels around the world.
I just hope we get the chance to get really, REALLY mucky in it!

FOR
IMMEDIATE RELEASE 22nd FEBRUARY 2012
SPiT LiKE THiS SIGN NEW ALBUM DEAL:
MAY 7th RELEASE DATE FOR “NORMALITYVILLE HORROR”
(Surrey, UK) SPiT LiKE THiS have signed to a brand new label,
DARK LORD RECORDS (in association with SONY/ATV). Dark Lord is
the brainchild of Grammy-nominated producer Chris Tsangarides
(Judas Priest, Ozzy Osbourne, Thin Lizzy, Anvil) and Strawbs
founder Dave Cousins.
The first release will be the long-anticipated release from SPiT
LiKE THiS “Normalityville Horror” on 7th May 2012 in
the UK with other territories to follow.
Lord Zion, vocalist with SLT: “We have been sitting on this
album for a while, waiting for the formation of CT's label. When
we recorded 'Normalityville Horror' with him, we enjoyed the
whole experience so, when he mentioned his label and that he
would like us on it, we jumped at the chance! 'Normalityville
Horror' is a real leap forward for us, musically and
thematically and I cannot wait for our fans, old and new, to
hear it at long last.”
Chris Tsangarides, producer of 'Normalityville Horror' and head
of Dark Lord Records: “I can't wait for the release and on
to the next great project with SLT”
