leaves SPiT LiKE THiS
We are pretty gutted to announce the departure of long-time
friend and guitar player, STEViE LEE. Stevie joined
SLT in 2003 and, in that time, dedicated his life to the band.
The decision for Stevie to leave was a tough one for him as he
still loves us and the music. But SLT was no longer what
he wanted to do, simple as that! We hope that you will
join us in wishing Stevie every success in whatever he tries
next. We will miss sharing a stage with him as we had some
great times together.
There
is no bad blood between us, on either side. He is sad, we
are sad, we are all sad! But life goes on and SPiT LiKE
THiS goes on! Obviously, over the next couple of
months, there are going to be some changes to the site and
sounds (as the new front page hints at) so it is a pretty
exciting time for us.

NiGHTMARE, the new stuff is shaping up to be fucking
awesome, even if I do say so myself! Cannot wait for you

what the fuck am i on about?? well, since being in this
band, i have discovered something. it is OK to be a loud,
outrageous, over the top rock band BUT there are certain terms
and conditions that apply. in the past 12 months, we
have been BANNED from playing venues because we are too LOUD.

are too LOUD. and, last night, i was BANNED
from attending the aftershow party of an international touring
rock band even though i was on the guest list - guess why - yep,
you got it, for being too LOUD. too loud. AT
A FUCKING ROCK CONCERT!!! will no-one take a stand
against this HORSE-SHiT? i don't lknow about you
but i want my rock LOUD and i want it crazy. when i
go out n about, i want to know i'm going to have a chaotic time
otherwise i might at well stay in with a good book and a cup of
horlicks. but it seems that, in 2006, if there is a
jumped-up prick that has even the tiniest bit of power over you,
they will find any excuse to wield it. it makes me sick to
my fucking stomach. for the record, i would just like to
say this is NOTHiNG to do with the band in question - who were
fucking cool! everyone reading this, DO SOMETHiNG NOW

i will set the scene... the two teenage gothz (craig
harriss & rosie webster) were discussing what music they
were going to listen to and one of them said - cue drum roll -
"SPiT LiKE THiS"!! an unsigned band being
mentioned as part of a storyline on one of the top rated tv
showz?? i tell ya, the whole world is going SLT crazy!

an incredible start to 2006! whilst recovering from the
debauchery that was last nite'z band party, i got newz that we
are going to be featuring in a brand new men'z lifestyle mag (ie
a mid shelf mag similar to LOADED, FHM etc) called
HOT! which comez out in the spring! they're going
to put us in their SHiFTiNG EARWAX column which "clues
the reader into what bands and releases are hot shit right
now"! they obviously have impeccible taste! |
